About Us

Lara Bruner founded Vulcan Consulting to bring the science of influence to women leaders and organizations. After 20 years teaching psychology—including AP Psychology and community college—she retired and built a practice around the Cialdini Institute’s persuasion methodology. She’s an award-winning teacher and presenter, a Cialdini Institute partner, and is writing the first book to combine influence research with gender differences: *Influence and Women*. Vulcan’s mission is to help women and teams lead with evidence-based influence—in keynotes, workshops, and consulting.
